They are proud of their new home – but the one thing they hate is its tiny 1950’s original kitchen.  They both love to cook and entertain but with the kitchen the size of a postage stamp they can’t even both fit in there at once!

Hamish decided to cheat and get the help of an award winning kitchen designer Mal Corboy!

Mal and Cocksy created more space by knocking out a wall into the lounge for a servery and putting in some bifold windows onto the deck. 

Mal chose green as the highlight colour for the doors and splashbacks and also put in some funky LED lighting in case Trish and Toby decide to do a bit of disco dancing while they cook!

The result – a super stylish kitchen that stands out from the sea of white kitchens out there.

      Hettich)
·          Good appliances (Westinghouse)

BARGAINS:

·          Our best buy was the benchtop we could have spent $10,000 on a
      marble benchtop but the Laminate benchtop we went for was a
      steal at $2000
·         Our decoglaze splashback costs about the same as tiling but its
      the hottest thing on the market and can give your kitchen a whole
      new look simply by changing the colour
·          Timber cabinetry - Malteca Laminex was only $2500
·          Removed the old cork tiles with some Tongue and Groove Tasmanian
      Oak Flooring
