Congratulations to Laminex & Designers Material Creative for winning 2 awards at the 2020 RED Awards. The Red Awards, run annually by the Retail Interiors Association, exists to promote excellence in retail design and to recognise the contribution of designers, shopfitters and suppliers to the retail industry. The Showroom was awarded Services Group Winner and a Resene Colour + Texture Excellence Award.
The Laminex Showroom was also a finalist at in the 2020 Interior Awards. This year saw the highest ever number of entries with more than 70 architecture and design firms entering projects. Architecture Now reports that some categories this year were so closely contested that judges shortlisted four entries rather than the usual three. This was the case for the Retail category including Rowson Kitchens Showroom Kitchen, and the Vidaspace Showroom by Studio Pacific Architecture. The winner was the stunning Abodo Showcase by Assembly Architects.
