AUCKLAND CHRISTCHURCH

Dezignatek has been making high quality thermoform doors, drawers and panels for nearly 20 years and are used by some of New Zealand’s leading kitchen designers, frequently appearing in some of the country’s most stylish homes.

Thermoforming is a process where a tough vinyl film is wrapped around the face and edges of a drawer or door panel and then bonded under heat and vacuum pressure. This results in a seamless, moisture-resistant and hard-wearing surface where no edge tape is required and doors with grooves or frames (door profiles) can be easily produced. This is much faster than a paint finish which is the only alternative.

The thermoform colour range offers over 45 colours and finishes include Matt, Satin, Texture, Suede and Gloss. All solid colours have Environmental Choice NZ accreditation.

There are three series of profiles on offer, covering a mix of design styles.

Dezignatek also provides custom laser edging for melamine, acrylic and Soft-Matt laminate panels used for cabinetry doors, drawers and end panels.
